This project was started in hopes of generating interest in the town of Clarion. We have been gathering facts for over a year and a half in order to provide information to Clarion residents, Clarion University students and their parents, newcomers moving into the community and tourists. This could not have been accomplished without the cooperation and support of many people including Kevin Beichner, author of A Clarion County Collection, which is available throughout downtown Clarion, Hank Hufnagel, Paul Weaver and the Clarion County Historical Society. Their photographs and knowledge added credibility to this project.
A special thank you goes to Clarion University, Clarion Hospital, several organizations and local merchants for their financial support.
