Ambulance
Clarion Hospital owns its own ambulance service with staff
and vehicles located strategically around the service area.
Cancer Care
The Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital provides chemotherapy,
blood transfusions, and radiation therapy to outpatients.
Cardiopulmonary
We offer a whole host of services including respiratory therapy,
stress testing, EKGs, and diagnosis of sleep disorders.
Dietetic Education
A registered dietitian meets individually with patients who have
nutritional challenges from diabetes to obesity.
Emergency
The Clarion Hospital ER sees 18,000 patients each year. Equipped
with telemedicine links to tertiary hospitals, our physicians
collaborate with others in Pittsburgh and Erie. A medical helicopter
is also based 24/7 outside our ER.
Intensive Care
This unit serves up to seven patients at a time. Special computers
allow nurses to monitor all these patients at the same time from a
central nursing station.

Clarion Hospital offers a complete list of lab services.
Obstetrics/Gynecology
The Women’s Health & Birth Center recently underwent extensive
renovations to boast superior comfort for women.
Rehab
Clarion Rehabilitation Services offer highly trained physical,
occupational, and speech therapists who see patients at the Rehab Center at Clarion Hospital, an inpatient rehab facility, as well as in a 7500 square-foot outpatient center.
Preventive Education
Clarion Hospital offers a host of wellness classes to the community including smoking cessation, diabetes management, good nutrition, and first aid.
Radiology
Our radiology department offers technology that is unparalleled. Our MRI, CT, Ultrasound and Mammography services are all nationally accredited. A mobile PET scanner comes to the hospital biweekly. Clarion Hospital recently upgraded from X-ray film to an all-digital system, allowing images to be emailed to other physicians across town or around the country.
Special Procedures
Clarion Hospital offers routine procedures like scopes and pain injections in this outpatient unit. Each member of this department’s nursing staff has obtained certification to preform these specialized procedures.
Surgery
Equipped with five operating rooms, Clarion Hospital’s surgery suite performs a host of procedures from angioplasty to complete knee replacements.
Wound Care
The Wound Center at Clarion Hospital is an outpatient clinic where specially-certified nurses care for patients with chronic wounds. Their healing rate is 10 percent higher than the national benchmark.
