Welcome to Clarion Borough! The Borough was incorporated in 1841 and is the County seat. The population per the 2000 census was 6,185. We have a beautiful and vibrant downtown area. Community pride is evidenced in the well maintained residential areas located throughout the Borough.

The Borough can assist you with zoning issues, code enforcement and rental unit inspections. We have a full time Public Works staff that maintains Paul A. Weaver Community Park, the Toby Boat Launch, and the municipal pool, all of which are open to the public. The department is also responsible for street maintenance.
